TL-WR841N V5 resets every 10 seconds
Region : UnitedStates
Model : TL-WR841N
Hardware Version : V5
Firmware Version : latest
ISP :
Recently something very weird has started to happen with my home wireless. Whenever I connect my router (TL-WR841N) to my modem, they both reboot. The first one to reboot is the router, and it's causes my Modem to reboot as well. The router reboots sometimes once after every 2 minutes and at times after every 10 seconds. I'm not sure which device is at fault, but the modem works flawlessly when used as a LAN without that router. I've also tested the router with a spare AC adapter as I had somewhat similar issue with it in the past, but no luck.
Further, there is no issue with my internet service. My wireless had been working fine for the past 3 years, and there are no changes in my internet and wireless security settings. My OS and system software etc. are also same as before.
The router is exactly 3 years old, is there any solution to this? OR is it end of the line for it? I would like to know where the culprit lies so that I can avoid spending on the wrong device if possible.
Thanks!
