I cannot get the 3200 to attach to a 5GHz SSID. I have switched off all 2.4 and it sees nothing. Issue with h/w or s/w ?

If youre still on this forum update them thru device manager. In Windows 8.1 this works. In Windows 8 it didnt. If you use the drivers windows installs, you wont see or connect to the 5 ghz connection
