Hi, I have a recurrent problem with this router. The problem is that the internet connection keeps cutting out on a daily basis requiring a reboot of the router to restore it. You get the yellow triangle on the network icon (Windows 7) and then unplug it and plug it in again and all is well. I'm not really using it for wireless as all our PC's and media streamers are connected by ethernet cables via a network switch. As far as I can tell, the networking still works as my media streamers can stream from my PC no problem when the internet has dropped.

I have upgraded to the latest firmware, and the router is located in a very well ventilated cool space.

Any ideas please?

I understood that you losing only internet access? Do you have then access GUI on the router? What kind of WAN connection do you have (dynamic, static or PPPoE)?

Thanks for the reply. According to my son who has a ethernet connection to the router, you can't access the GUI. He's tried to reboot it that way but the only way we have been able to get it back is unplugging it. The WAN is dynamic.

Give me screenshot from Status tab of the router. These problems often occur?

Sorry but I'm not member of TP-Link and I'm only sometimes on the forum.

When you catch the problem with internet access please do command in cmd ping 192.168.1.1
