TL-WN822N SoftAP Issue
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-WDN4800
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Greetings :-)
Problem in a nutshell:
I'm trying to use my Nexus 7 to connect to my TP-Link Wireless adapter, through the TP-Link adapter's SoftAP mode [on]. On connecting, my Nexus 7 manages to move past authentication, but gets stuck on the "obtaining IP address" part. The Nexus tries several times to authenticate & obtain IP address, but fails.
A bit more info:
The TP-Link Adapter is connected to my upstairs PC and provides a good signal to the PC, from the downstairs router, which supplies the Interne. The downstairs router is a brand new TL-WDR8980 N600. This router is working well, the wireless adapter is working well and the Nexus 7 is working well. I can't figure out though, why the Nexus can't obtain an IP address from the Adapter?
