Region : Argentina

Model : TL-MR3220

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version :

ISP :

I have two M5350, one from 2013 and one bought 4 weeks ago from amazon.
Both are V1 and have latest software:

Model: M5350
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 140311 Rel.15600n
Hardware Version: M5350 v1 00000000

The one from 2013 has the problem that after half an hour of usage, the battery gets extremely hot (you cannot touch it any more) and battery drains within 1 hour of usage which is unnormal.
Also, when that happens, the internet speed is reduced extremely and also access to the web frontend gets very slow.
In addition, both devices show after I updated them to the latest firmware the following problem: Clients frequently loose connections, and sometimes my Ipad cannot reconnect and I have to reboot the M5350 in order to connect my ipad again to the wifi.
Same with my Macbook pro, sometimes I loose connection and have to reconnect, and in some cases the reconnect fails until I reboot the M5350.

Before I had the firmware M5350_V1_130809 on the device which worked without any problem (however the battery hot problem randomly occurred since I bought the device).

Any info about those issues?

thanks a lot!

Hi Markus

1. About M5350 gets hot issue.
How do you use M5350?
Are you charging M5350 when you're using it?
How long will you use M5350 for once you turn it on?
And maybe the suroudings you're uing M5350 is too hot?

2. 140311 firmware get Internet unstable
I can see your iPad and MAC will get randomly disconnected.
They're all IOS product.
DO you have windows/Android devices which have similar problem?
And when your iPad and MAC get disconnected, can you log in M5350's web management interface?
DO you have a IP address from M5350?
