Hello,

 

What's the correct procedure to setup DNS Proxy on the ER7206v2 in Standalone Mode.?

 

 According to the router, " The DNS Proxy provides the LAN side clients with the DNS query service".

 

How do i point the LAN side clients towards the DNS Proxy Service on the router?

 

I've selected DOT as the preferred option but cloudflare still doesn't confirm that DOT is in use.

How to configure DNS Proxy on the Omada Gateway

 

You should confirm if your ISP is leaking or hijacking the DNS.

And I am not sure if their test is accurate or not. A simple test you can do is use your phone and set up the DNS proxy DoH or DoT, and run the test with their test website. If that still tells you are not using the secure DNS, it seems to be their test is not accurate.

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

And in a simple test, PC is set to be auto DNS and using the default gateway IP as the DNS server.

you just set the DHCP - DNS setting address to the router IP for that vlan
