I bought a USB wireless Adaptor T4U and a Archer 7 Version 2 yesterday. After installation, I search network in setting panel, it just shown 2.4 GHz and cannot find 5GHz in the list. I am using Window 7 and I can find the 5GHz signal of router in my smartphone.
Anyone could kindly help that? Thanks.

I had the same problem but with Windows 8.1. They told me to change the channel number for the 5Ghz to 44, and it worked, not sure whether
it will rectify yours but worth trying

It also happened to a friend of mine with Archer C2. I passed him this solution. Hope it works for Archer C2 also.

It can also happen if the driver doesn't support 5 ghz, in win10.

I had the same prob but with the WDN3200. I had to install Mediatek drivers, because the TPlink drivers didnt work (and there are no Win10 drivers for it (only 8.1). And the windows 10 drivers didnt support 5 ghz either
