WA850RE - Status Page and Connection Reliability
Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-WA850RE
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 3.14.8 Build 140310 Rel.54716n
ISP : BT
Dear All,
I've had to manually configure my two WA850RE extenders to work with a BT Homehub 4. Following instructions from here I've used the 192.168.1.254 gateway on both, and given each a static IP of 192.168.1.251 (and .252 for the second one). DHCP off on both. Generally, both work well although from time to time they frustratingly refuse to work - and need a reset. For example, I went away a couple of days ago with the system down, intending to reset it all today - only to find everything working fine with no apparent changes.
The status page for both however, never shows a tick between the main router and the internet - even when it is working. Anyone got any ideas why that might be, or any thoughts as to what might make the system more robust?
Thanks in advance.
Scott
