Hi,

My ISP upgraded their network yesterday and I got a new modem/router from them. When I plug in my TP-Link router to that I could not access the internet. After I log into my router I saw that my router got an IP adress 192.168.1.6, and DNS was 0.0.0.0, so I was wondering if that could be the problem. Then I went into WAN settings and sets the static IP adress to 192.168.1.6 and DNS to 192.168.1.1. After this I could not access the router login page anymore. I guess it's messed up because now both DNS and default gateway is set to 192.168.1.1.

I wonder if there is a way to access the router without doing hard reset? I have quite a lot NAT settings in the router so I would prefer not to do hard reset.

Thanks. BR.

Check default gateway on PC connected to your TP-LINK router. Is it 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1? Try to login with the gateway.
