i just recently bought my pocket wifi, use it for home use or while working out, but ever since i got it, the internet speed is acting up, signal is going up and down, than suddenly it goes slow, and my phone devices and other devices says you are connected but no internet coming in, so i did check everything in the settings, and security, WPS is fully off. Sp i dont know what is the problem.

Solution 1: i did change its channel to 1,6,10,11 - still goes up and down than to slow

Solution 2: wireless mode on testing what is good but none of it shows any difference of my internet

Solution 3: DHCP server, yes made abit changes, same problem

Solution 4: Firmware is updated whens i bought it and configure it.

Solution 5: I did everything i can from pass 2 weeks, no solutions shows any change of my internet speed to be stable, so what i did as always, factory rest dozen times but still no problem.

So what should i do now because i spend money on this expensive pocket wifi, is it because more security but less internet speed coming in??

What's the exact version of your M7350 ?

What's your environment like when using the device?

Have you try the same sim card on your phone and see its speed and stability? if not, you can try so

Plus, connect the M7350 to your pc as the only network adapter and see its Network connectivity。

@cloudwalker my firmware is  8.0.3, i use my pocket wifi for work and gaming also, as you mention about putting the sim in phone, sorry in our country we have this service that doesnt allow it to have it on phones, because they are provided on routers and pocket wifi only, and yes i did connect to my laptop using wired, the speed is still the same as well as i use it on wireless mode. Signal Bars is about 2, so im wondering is it has to be the the firmware outdated or something, if you have a solution to solve it

Can you try another sim card from a different isp? Is the pocket wifi allowed to use the sim card for phone ? if so, you can try it, The wifi may be interfered with other 2.4G devices, so the wired internet is more close to its original speed. The problem now is that we can't determine the normal performance of you current sim, so if possible, try the current sim with other devices or try different sim with the m7350 may help.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

You may check whether the hardware version of your M7350 is V8. If so, 8.0.3 should be the latest firmware.

As 4G Internet speed can be affected by lots of factors, if you are experiencing speed issue on MiFi, please insert the same SIM card into another MiFi with the same UE Capability, then compare the speed to see if it is really the router issue.

So for your situation, it is hard to confirm the issue is totally from the device itself.

Beside what you tried, here are other troubleshooting steps for your refence:

  1) Go to Advanced -> Dial-up -> Network Settings page and change Network Mode to "4G Only" especially when the router is working on 3G.

  2) Try another available APN profile or create a new APN profile manually.

Best regards.
