Thank you, I've seem to be making progress. One further question if I may?

Is the format of the drive important for writing from a Mac or is the format transparent to OS X as the drive is mounted as a server? In other words do I have to use FAT32 to be able to write from both PCs and MACs on the network?

If the drive format is not FAT/FAT32/NTFS, it won't be able to be detected by C7 for USB sharing and media...
