Hi guys,

I am having issues with connecting to some networks so I wand to update the driver before posting a thread about my connections issue.

But I am not able to get past Windows own driver for this card?!? The version Windows is using are 9.2.0.310 dated 22-02-2011, so I downloaded the latest driver: TL-WDN4800_Driver_V1_140506 and ran the Setup.exe - all installed fine but the driver is still the old one.

So I tried to force Windows to use the driver I downloaded by manually install it, picked it by myself by using the "have disk". But still the same!?! I even tried to uninstall the card and re-installing it by using the Setup.exe and it got installed, but still with the old driver. How do I do it?

Describe your connection issue in details.
The operating system is Win7?
Try chipmaker's driver and download the Atheros AR9380 one.

Similar Issue but with BSOD

I'm having the same issue -- I'm unable to update the driver to my WDN-4800 but it results in a BSOD. I tried to update the driver through the TP Link utility and through Windows, but the old one remains.

Any ideas?

Try Mavis's advice. Why you have to update the driver?
