Hello guys:

I recently purchased a TP-Link WDR4300 router hw v.1.7, to replace my other TP-Link WR941ND hw v.3.6, which was working fine, but expecting to get better wifi signals and expecting to use the last one as a repeater.

Unfortunately, since I installed the WDR4300 (and only this one, at first), the wifi signal in my apartment is clearly worse, and the stability of the LAN is also bad.

I have only one desktop connected to cable, and when I turn it on and open the browser, it takes more than normal to start navigating (1 - 2 minutes); after that, it is normal.

On WLAN we have some smartphones and notebooks, which suffer with bad wifi signal, and some times they stop navigating the web, although still connected to the WLAN.

I tried different configurations on the router, including the installation of DD-WRT and OpenWRT, but with the same bad results. I also tried transmitting only in 2.4Ghz, disabiling MAC clone (my ISP gives me an ADSL on a separet modem), also with no success.

I'm sending screenshots of the main configuration pages, if some of you could help me, I'll be very thankfull.

Feel free to send me any more questions.

Thanks.

Thank you Mavis, I've already downloaded the firmware and will try it as soon as possible, then I'll let you know the results.
