Method one (easiest)

Connect your computer/tablet/smartphone to the Wi-Fi from WA901ND. The default Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password can be found on the label on the bottom of the WA901ND.
After connected, open a browser type in tplinkap.net

Method Two (most reliable)
Unplug the WA901ND from the switch, connect it directly to your computer via a Ethernet cable. Assign your computer a static IP address 192.168.0.20. If you don't know how to assign a static IP address, follow this FAQ article http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?faqid=174
Then open a browser and type in 192.168.0.254 to log in.

Ok so I tried the following:

- Disconnected the AP from the switch
- Connected my Windows 7 laptop to the AP with the Ethernet cable
- I opened the following: Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
- Navigated to the Properties section of the Ethernet connection.
- Changed to a static IP address
- Opened Internet explorer.
- Put the following into the address bar: 192.168.1.254 - which is the ip address on the label at the bottom of the router.

And nothing! I am close to throwing the access point out of the window at this point.

I also disabled AVG but nothing.

Would a hard reset work?

After numerous attempts, I now have the problem solved. I performed a hard reset on the AP, and was able to access the router settings in the method suggested. Not sure what changed.
