Can I use two ANT2409As to extend a wifi system between buildings? If so what hardware do I need at the receiver end besides the antenna?

Don't waist your money with that antenna, get 2-CPE510 and make the link if you have Line of Site (LOS) That will be a 5.8 Ghz. link,

Many thanks, kevsh
Interested to hear that the 2409A is a possible. The distance between the two buildings is small - less than 10 metres. Can you advise what hardware I should connect to the receiving antenna.

5.8ghz would be a last choice for using a bridged link in between buildings. Higher you go in frequency the more attenuation is attributed by man made objects, and that is including foliage on trees. If the 2.4ghz band is very congested with users then then 5ghz is an option, and if the distance is great both of the antennas need to be in a line of site situation. The panel antenna you described is good http://www.tp-link.us/products/details/?categoryid=2474&model=TL-ANT2409A but I would use the next better one such as http://www.tp-link.us/products/details/?categoryid=2474&model=TL-ANT2414A for the best signal you can get, cause the more signal the the more data you and transfer.
