If I connect to a tp link extender the internet connection works, while if I connect to the main router I have no internet connection.

It's a FW related issue, hence the update to v1.0.13 FW release (details).

If your RE is HW v7 (that's on your bottom sticker) make sure that it has the latest FW release 1.0.13 - you can get it from here. After FW update test again.

  @terziyski thank you very much for your help.

Just today I updated the firmware from release *.12 to *.13 as advised. Since the problem was not systematic I can not confirm the solution until a few days have passed. Are you confident in the solution? Can you tell me if the problem was related to using the same frequency or the same channel?
