Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

Hi all

I was using archer C7 router and it was working fine. For almost a year kept it off as I got Jio set up.

now I came back to old service provider and set up c7 again. Since then it is getting restarted frequently.

Tried updating firmware online, then manually but no luck. Tried resetting it still issue persist.

can someone help as this router is out of warranty and I don't think taking it to service center will help as they will just do firmware upgrade and nothing else

please advise.

  @Nishi7283

The latest FW release for Archer C7 v5 is  Archer C7(EU)_V5_1.2.1 Build 20220715 - here.

If you are on this FW release there's no need for update. The router power adapter could be a reason for this issue - try different 12 V ⎓ 1.5 A power adapter.

If that doesn't help the you should contact your local support for assistance.
