Hi All,

I've read general advices about disabling mac filtering when Extender cannot connect into router.
However I didn't find clear statement, that extender doesn't work in this case.

I need to keep mac filtering enabled, is it possible to Extender works in this scenario?
Router: TP Link WDR4300, latest firmware (3.14.1 Build 15030), both Extender MACs (2.4GHz / 5GHz) are in router mac filter rules.

Extender see both WiFI, however status is "disconnected". Even if Extender see router MACs (router has also one for 2.4GHz, another one for 5GHz like Extender),
it's not connected.
If I disable MAC filtering on router, Extender works fine - however this is not solution for me :-(

Thanks in advance, I hope that this is not limitation of Extender.

On web interface of WDR4300, go to Wireless 2.4GHz---Wireless Statistics page. Can you find out MAC address related to TL-WA830RE there? Try to add that MAC address in MAC Filtering rules.
