I'm hoping someone will be able to help.

Should I see system log messages under the wireless option for when a device connects.
The only messages I ever see under DHCP

System Log is under System Tools. Under DHCP, you can see DHCP clients list.
What are you trying to look for?

Nope, there is only DHCP messages in the system log. This is the way tplink always is.
