It is just unbelievable! Had 1.000.000 Router options but no I go and buy the router which is unable to provide internet over the wire!? It's 2015, the router cost me 150bucks and this is just unbelievable one can not connect over the wire!? Just surfed the net for solution and unbelievable lot of people with the same problem but no solution, instead of just a ridiculous questions...so here the answers right a way:
Yes, I have plugged in the cable and yes, the cable is ok, its brand new, and yes it retains the IP address but it's unable to connect to the internet, and yes am running the latest firmware and yes I did restart the router and no, my computer is not broken and no, I will not send the unit back since I have no time for such a jokes.... Solution please!

If it is quite urgent for you to solve it, you should submit a ticket or call TP-LINK support team directly instead of complaining here and asking for a solution.

As to the problem, I don't think your description is clear enough. C9 is working with a modem, right? Without C9, can you access internet? How did you configure C9 to work with your modem?
