Replacement Parts for VIGI C540S
Hello,
I have a VIGI C540S that managed to get some water into the Ethernet plug and caused the plug and the cable to rust pins away, as with the POE it acted like an anode.
I want to replace the cable that goes into the camera and connects to the chip board via a 12 pin connector.
The reason for me going down this route is the camera is less than a year old but based on the warranty and replacement,t the water ingress is not covered and my fault.
I have managed to pick up some similar cables, but the 12 pin plug into the camera chip board is a different connection. is there anyone that I am able to purchase a replacement cable from?
Thanks you for your assistance

I have the pin out, But I think replacing the cable would be much easier. I was hoping there is a refurbishment or repair contact that I could purchase the part from.
You can try out the local support team. Not sure if the part could be purchased. That depends on whether we have this part listed as a part that could be replaced.
We indeed have part RMA and I think the support rep could help you with this easy part replacement.
We don't have repair system. Just RMA and part RMA.

@Bellis4127 Have you been able to receive the cable since that time? We have the same type of cameras.
I could not find a similar cable on any chinese side as the connector on the end which goes into the board is not avaiable.
I do have 8 of this cameras and unfortunately 4 or 5 got water leakage on the RJ45 connector somehow. Don't ask how.
The support ask to check with the locals but Im living in Switzerland and there is no local support here.
We use the cameras for security reasons and I would appreciate if we can get some help here. If TP-Link will not provide any support we will need to look for the Reolink cameras.
The cameras have worked well until the rain water came in.
Kindly awaiting your response.
Regards,
cyberhak
