Model : TL-WA801ND

Hardware Version : V3

Firmware Version :

ISP :

Hi,

I can't get my TL-WA801ND connected to wifi, but I´m not sure I have entered correct information on the settings page.

I want to use the device as a Client Mode. Should Wireless Name of Root AP and MAC Address of Root AP be information about my main network? I have connected to my network by clicking the Survey button and selected my network on the list. All other information is default settings.

From there, I have no idea what do to. I can't get wifi to my device.

/Linn

In client mode, to access internet by WA801ND, you have to use cable connection
main router(Wi-Fi)>>>>><<<<<(Wi-Fi)WA801ND(LAN)-----------(LAN)PC
Did you try if it works wiring to WA801ND?

If you want to connect to WA80ND both wired and wirelessly, try repeater mode.

I'm trying to connect my TV by cable through TL-WA801ND while this connects as a client to the main router but that didn't work so i tried switching it to the repeater mode, it enabled the devices to connect by wireless but not through LAN cable

Hi,

You have to use the WDS Repeater mode, but your main router must have a fixed channel (not Auto)...

The "WDS Repeater" mode is required, but your main router must have a fixed channel (not Auto)...

Did you disable the DHCP server or set its Gateway and DNS to the IP address of the main router?
