Hi!

I'm planning on buying two Archer C5/C7 routers and my question is this:
If I connect both routers with WDS on 2.4GHz band, can I also use the 5GHz band on one (without WDS ofcourse),
or can router only work on one band if WDS is enabled?

1.It is unnecessary for you to configure WDS on both C5/C7 routers.Only the back one should be set up on the WDS mode.What's more,it cause problem once you configure the both on WDS mode.
2.The two frequency makes no difference to each other.Therefore,even if you set up WDS mode on 2.4GHz you can easily connect to 5GHz either the root router or the back one.
