  @WifiStand

Do any of these EAPs have adapted firmware yet? i dont think they do, and if they dont, this feature wont do anything at all.

Hi  @AmanSaroha

Thanks for the feedback. Please kindly give us more info about the issue:

1. Did you enable Clients' History Data? (Global View > Settings > History Data Retention)

2. For clients that reverted to the default "unknown" status, have they ever been offline for more than one day?

3. For clients that reverted to the default "unknown" status, has the MAC address remained unchanged?

4. Please list some examples of the affected clients. What types are they?

5. How did they connect to the network? Wired or wireless? Please also tell us the model number of the connecting switch or EAPs. Thanks.

  @Vincent-TP Hii, after setting device type and vendor in the client tab on oc200 it resets it back to unknown for random clients after each login.

  @Vincent-TP Hii, clients are connected to EAP-235 wall and EAP 245v4. For example there are 2 homepod mini connected to eap235 wall and when I set the deice type as audio player and brand apple it saved this setting for one homepod in the first try but for the second one it resets it to unknown device every time.

Oc200 is connected to sg2210p and i cannot set its device type as controller, it resets to unknown.

1) History data retention is turned on.

2) Devices didn't go offline. It reverts to unknown isntantly after I set device type and refresh the page.

3) MAC address was static.

4) Explained above

5) Wireless and wired both are affected.

Hi Vincent, not sure if this is related but since I've upgraded my OC300 to v5.15.24 I've started having problems with SFP+ WAN1 port on my ER8411 disconnecting. My ISP router is up but the light on the port on the ER8411 is off. If i unplug the LAN cable from the SFP+ module (TL-SM5310-T) and plug it back in, it all starts working. It's done this 10 times now, and it will come back up on its own after a time if I leave it rather than unplug and re-plug the cable back in. I've never have any issues with this until just after doing the upgrade. The FW on my ER8411 is 1.3.2 Build 20250610 Rel.85512

Many Thanks

Lee...

@Vincent-TP Hi Vincent, i'm still getting lots of drop outs on WAN1 since upgrading to v5.15.24, before I downgrade again to hopefully stop this happening, do you want any logs from my controller?

Thanks Lee...

  @Vincent-TP

I have a question regarding to the Smartphone App.

How we can reach the developers to give feedback?

Because i'm missing some options there each time a have to sit in front of my computer to do the configutration.

Also i see there are some other App's from TP-Link for example Deco, here i have done a setup with 5x Deco be25 and the App is wunderfull ;)

Than for all other users install this app and give 5 Stars !!

Here you have all the good things what you need for network tests.

I did use iperf v3 to messure the speed between directly plugged computer (iperf Server) on Deco be25 and my smartphone (iperf client with the app)

  @Vincent-TP

I am seeing some lags and slowness when using Omada cloud to interact with my Oc300 running this beta.  Messages about "lost connection with controller", and when rebooting network devices (like switches, APs etc) its really quite laggy - the confirmation dialog is slow to pop up and go away and it makes the device list go unresponsive for a few seconds sometimes.

Sometimes when switching between sites, the cloud interface just seems to completely die requiring a close of the tab and re-launch from the cloud again

 I do not see this issue with local GUI access, just cloud.  And its not the hosts site ISP connection, its rock stable synchronous 1gig on static public IPs

Overall, other that the cosmetic things i pointed out, its been surprisingly stable for the last week !
