Hi @frankz66
What kind of controller are you using? Software controller or hardware controller?
For Omada controllers, there is no default login account. You will need to create an account at the first login.
Furthermore, for security concerns, we will not display the password of the master admin on the controller's interface; you will need to remember it yourself.

@Vincent-TP hi, I think I have specific that I use a software controller, an LXC on my cluster. At first it asks for the username of any AP and I enter the credentials, but it seems to me that I have not seen the credentials for web access.

@Vincent-TP Hi, I downloaded the latest version from scratch, installed Ubuntu as lxc, installed the missing dependencies including mongo from but from repository and restarted the installation. It immediately asked me for the credentials to enter for admin, which it hadn't asked me in the previous installation. Now everything works. I don't understand what happened...

@frankz66 Having solved the problem, I find myself with two omada controllers of which the last one which is also the latest correct and working version is empty. I would like to decommission the old one then migrate the site with my 3 APs. I saw that there is the possibility of site migration, but on the same versions. Although to see the latest one is not a major version. Can anyone help me on which direction to choose to migrate the site to decommission the old controller?

Hi @frankz66
To migrate succussfully, please refer to the following steps:
1. backup the config file of the old controller;
2. update the old controller to the same version as the new one;
3. migrate the old controller to the new one:
