Critical Issue: WhatsApp Voice Calls / SIP Not Working - Symmetric NAT Concern
Critical Issue: WhatsApp Voice Calls / SIP Not Working - Symmetric NAT Concern

Dear TP-Link Support Team,
I am writing to report a critical issue with my TP-Link router, model er 605 and er707.
I am unable to consistently use WhatsApp voice/video calls, and I also experience significant problems with SIP (VoIP) connections. Based on widespread user reports and troubleshooting, this appears to be due to the router's use of Symmetric NAT, which is incompatible with these real-time communication protocols.
This issue severely limits the usability of the router for myself and many other users. Could you please advise on a solution? Specifically, I would appreciate guidance on:
* How to resolve the WhatsApp call and SIP connectivity issues.
* Whether there is an option to change the NAT type (e.g., to Full Cone NAT).
* Any recommended settings or future firmware updates addressing this.
Thank you for your urgent attention to this
matter.

@GRL no ISP problem. 4 different isps and mainly if I remove er routers and put exactly same wan configuration on another router it starts to work. So it's useless that i do a wireshark capture? I only have to change router?

Like I wrote, I asked if you have a public IP on the router. Or you have multiple layers of NAT, which causes the trouble instead of the Omada router.
I think you can Wireshark after you mirror the WAN and let's see what you can provide about the STUN.
As before, I am not familiar with any third-party software or apps. I need docs from them or their instructions and what they need to port forward or enable on the router. Then, I might have some ideas about the troubleshooting direction.

Public ip address on WAN side, so no other nat.
This is the simplest setup i tried:
Internet --> ONT provided from the ISP to convert fiber to ethernet ---> ER router --> Notebook with whatsapp desktop on ER lan side. DOESN'T WORK
if i replace the ER with this
Internet --> ONT provided from the ISP to convert fiber to ethernet ---> Ubiquity router --> Notebook with whatsapp desktop on ubiquity lan side. IT WORKS
or
Internet --> ONT provided from the ISP to convert fiber to ethernet ---> Grandstream GCC router --> Notebook with whatsapp desktop on ubiquity lan side. IT WORKS
@clive_a I can also give you a teamviwer or similar so you can check and test by yourself. I'm able to give you a pc with a test whatsapp on it and full access to the ER router in standalone mode

Make sure you reply to my message.
I need a diagram of your network with the IP specified for all the devices in this link.
I need to know if you have a cellphone to call under this network, will it work or not?
I need AnyDesk access. TeamViewer is not convenient.
It seems that you can host an unattended desktop for me. Need it to be 24 hrs up for the remote session as we may access it at any time and in a different time zone.
For remote information, this will be another reply. I need a diagram and an answer to the question in the next reply.
