Hello , I bought Range Extender WA850RE - installed it and after few hours I have problem with internet connections. The signal of the router was still available but I don't have internet from Extender. I upgrade firmware to the last one, but still I have problems. Is there any solution of the problem?

Yes it is. I flashed OpenWRT and it solves latency and packet loss I was seeing. Sadly I can't figure out how to configure it as a wireless extender.MarcusVR wrote

My WDR35002.4ghz band drops out on my when I use the WA850RE :(

I have an issue with my WA850RE, but it seems to be slightly different.
After several minutes (sometimes hours if I'm lucky) of having a solid connection, my WA850RE causes my WDR3500 to completely STOP transmitting at 2.4ghz! Prior to adding the RE, my WDR3500 worked awesome across both the 2.4/5ghz bands--I figured adding a TP-Link RE to expand my network was a good idea (keep it "same brand"). But the RE has actually made things WORSE. When I use WIFI signal analyzing apps on my portable devices, I can clearly see both the router and RE transmitting at 2.4hz--after several minutes the router's (and ONLY the router's) signal will just DROP OUT. This does not happen when the RE is unplugged, hence why I am leaving it unplugged :(
Has anyone seen this before, or can offer some suggestions?
I've called and emailed customer support, and they've just told me to reset everything and email them back. I have, and it's taking them days to respond.
And sorry if I'm thread-jacking...I posted my own thread about it here in the RE room about 48hours ago, but my post is still awaiting "moderator approval" I suppose--not happy :(
You can see the two "G" SSID signals, one for the router, one for the RE.

I downgrade it and problem with connection is still available but less not every hour. Maybe next will be to put a openwrt firmware. I am disappoint of tp link support.
