Upgrading to new omada hardware M2 sadly not satisfied with the results

I never in my carrier of 20 years i had such a bed experience with upgrading to new hardware, i was a big fan of Omada en TP-Link but they release new stuff and allisgn the features and firmware.
I migrated from a 605 to a ER7412-M2 the older 605 have even more features then my new one! I'm considering quitting omada altogether and my customers.
Also the updates of new firmware releases taking forever.

The model is not even in the list https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/255644

That list only maintains the models that used to have a PR from the dev. If a model does not have the PR, then it is not listed.
I have deducted that thread and removed what they think some contents are not related or duplicate per the instructions of the management team. If you have feedback on that part, you can send it to the related team.

@ArmandoNL totally the same opinion in this regard. Expected from newest version of hardware at least the same options what we had with previous setup, like ER605 has. Bought M2 and was found that it has no even DNS support for Wireguard site-to-site setup. Then I found, previous firmware version was delivered almost 1 year ago. First expectation, hmm, it seems this product created almost ideally and they fixed some typos there in the gui menu ~12 months ago so, we can upgrade network smoothly to get better results.
In fact, it looks like an abandoned product that needs to be sent back, because this is not an upgrade, but a downgrade for our existing network with plus x4 its cost.
I haven't found any roadmaps or pre-release or announcements for this product anywhere here or in WWW. Yes, developers informed, but that is not enough to make decision: refund or keep it. And how long we need to wait for missing features in second case.
Who want to buy the latest equipment with outdated firmware and lack of support.

@almackbios There are many people like us. I love the Omada concept, but in reality, it's not sustainable for businesses because I have to upgrade for more options like fiber, 10G, etc. Since switching completely to Omada, I've had so many problems with incompatible hardware.
So what's the concept of the M2? Improved products? Just for marketing purposes, then, because the real truth isn't like that! In fact, for professional hardware like this, you can actually expect it to have all the features in this age of technology.
I have a few customers who have already replaced their Omada setup with other brands with even more features, like MikroTik and Ubiquiti.

@ArmandoNL I checked before, difference was in hardware between M2 and first version of this device. Also those parameters were important for us (also was increased in comparison):
IPS Throughput | 523Mbps |
---|---|
DPI Throughput | 2.2Gbps |
WireGuard VPN | 771.6 Mbps |
It is great. Funny, when 1st version has all those necessary features, but next generation M2 hasn't it from scratch (*it was expected in M2 in V1 by default, at least when we did research, we expected it and selected TP-Link instead of MikroTik) :
e.g
