Model : TL-MR3020

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version :

ISP : [ACT Fiber]

I have TL-MR3420 as my Base Router which directly connects to the Internet through PPPoE and has a LAN Cable connected from my ISP connected to its WAN Port (Let's assume SSID1)

I'm attempting to configure TL-MR3020 in 'Bridge Mode AP' so that it extends my existing Wi-Fi network with a different SSID (Let's say SSID2). I followed this KB article http://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-656.html and the 'Bridge Mode AP' and the configuration completed successfully, but the clients connected to SSID2 have no Internet connectivity, neither do they get any IP from the Base Router MR3420.Not sure what's wrong here

I have checked that TL-MR3020 has

1. Its hardware switch on 'AP' mode
2. Correct Wi-Fi security settings for TL-MR3420
3. Same Wireless Channel as TL-MR3420
4. IP Address set in the same subnet as TL-MR3420
5. It's Gateway set to the IP address of TL-MR3420

I would appreciate any feedback or comments to get this working. I spoke with TP-Link India Support and have been advised that this configuration is not possible, but i'm not convinced with that response.
