WDR4300 admin login problem

The router worked perfectly in the old firmware (2013xxxx). The website was the most recent in 2015 so I downloaded and updated.
Before the update I made a backup of settings, and after the update i restored it. Router restarted and login appeared on the screen.
I can't login either the default (admin/admin). P reviously I changed the password, but I can't log in with a old password.
What happened?
What could be the solution?
The old settings work because now i use this router and i can use the internet, wifi etc.
