Model: Archer C80
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.13.15

I have my Archer C80 in AP mode and I want to isolate my IoT devices from the rest of the network.

In "Additional Settings" I enable "AP Isolation" and I have my devices in the Guest Network, which is the only one that has an option like "Allow guests to see each other", which I have disabled. The most I get is that the devices in the Guest Network can not see each other... but can see the devices in the "main" network and the wired ones.

What is the point of AP isolation if they can communicate with the main wireless network?

There is also a "IoT network", but again all the devices on the 3 different wireless (main, guest and IoT) + wired can see each other.
Is it supposed to work this way?

Here's what AP isolation does.

Here's why IoT network was created for - it's just another SSID.

Both won't do the job in your case since your C80 is in AP mode.

The only way to ido what you want is to use C80 in router mode and put the IoT devices in the its guest network with the option "Allow Guest to access my Local Network" disabled.
