Hi community,
I have a Deco network that was shared with me by the owner. I'm a manager.

The owner is convinced they have granted me all privileges (see images in attachemtn), but I can’t add an additional Deco unit that I own, because it says "I need to contact the owner of this network before continuing."
The problem is that in the Deco app, these specific privileges don’t seem to exist — there are only privileges for network management, managing Decos, and changing network settings including wireless settings — but nothing mentioning the ability to add devices.
Where are the privileges to allow someone to add Deco devices?

Managers can access and manage the network using the Deco app, but they cannot add or remove Deco units themselves. You will need to reach out to the owner to get the username and password or you can reset each deco by pressing the button on the bottom of each deco they own and then recreate the network using a new deco account

Anytime, remember if you decide to reset all the decos you "should" still be able to use the same SSID and password you use for all your devices as long as you enter the same info in during the setup process
