Asus FAST router cant connect acer aspire v7
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I am about to start crying.
I have been working on this problem for the past 5 hours. My acer aspire v7 582-p computer can't connect to my Asus FAST router via wifi (works fine via an enthernet cable). The computer connects but does not recieve an internet connection. When I run windows troubleshoot it says either something like "the computer seems to be configured correctly but it cannot connect to www.microsoft.com" or "it cannot connect to the DNS".
I have tried many solutions to solve this. I have tried:
Setting the DNS to 8.8.8.8
Updated and downgraded the driver (intel 7260).
Manipulated the power schedule.
COMPLETELY restoring the computer and upgrading it to windows 10 again (litterally nothing is installed atm.)
Running various commands in cmd.
etc.
(side note: the computer can connect to other networks such as my iPhone and the router can give other computers internet via wifi).
Does anyone know what I have to do? Please! If you have the slightest clue, respond. I am desperate.
/Nathan
