Dear friend,
I'm having a problem with the new firmware EAP670v1_1.3.50_[20250819-rel57463] for my EAP670v1 US.
The 2.4GHz WiFi is working without any noticeable issues.
However, the 5.0GHz WiFi is experiencing constant disconnections from any devices that support it, from my smartphones to my 4K TV Stick to my IoT devices. The behavior is very unusual.
I tried resetting the device to re-adopt it, but the behavior persists. Another thing I noticed is that the signal strength has dropped significantly, even with the WiFi optimization on the controller, which is still excellent. Previously, I could pick up the signal from across the street. Not anymore with this firmware.
I'm reverting to EAP670v1_1.3.0_[20250609-rel35129] because I believe there are indeed issues with this firmware in this regard.
I need to determine if there's any connection with the new firmware for the OC200 controller, as I happened to perform the updates on the same day.
So, I need to spend a full day or more to properly assess whether the behavior has disappeared and everything is working normally again.
I'm waiting for adjustments that improve the conditions found in EAP670v1_1.3.50_[20250819-rel57463].
UPDATE
I reverted the firmware to the previous version, and the optimization gains were much greater, from 64% to 73%. The biggest gain was in 5.0GHz Wi-Fi.
In the last two images, you can see all my attempts with the new firmware, EAP670v1_1.3.50_[20250819-rel57463], up to the last one marked in red, showing the signal and stability gains in the restored firmware version, EAP670v1_1.3.0_[20250609-rel35129].
I hope I've contributed in some way.
