Deco X73-DSL as a mesh point?

Hi guys.
I currently own one X73-DSL and have been offered a second one cheap. Can I use it as a Deco mesh point? I'm not looking to use the VOIP on the "client" although I might use one of its LAN ports.
I'm aware that all Decos are meant to be mesh-able but thought I should check with this particular model.

@HelpFixDecoApp thanks.
I've read several other posts about the X73 DSL having mesh issues and no firmware updates to bring it into line with other Deco units. Has this been addressed at all? From what I can see this model seems to have been a bit neglected..

Not going to lie to you. It looks like the last update to hardware version 1 was over a year ago. I have no idea when the next firmware update will be. You can mix and match deco units in a network the only issue with that is if one unit has option A and the 2nd units firmware doesn't support option A then both units lose option A

@HelpFixDecoApp yeah it does look like that. I've been using TP-Link stuff for over 20 years now, and it's always been the same. They unleash a whole slew of products, but it's a matter of finding the 'golden child' ones that get supported beyond the first couple of updates. I'm not convinced the X73-DSL is in that camp. Very few of their modem products get much love, really.

I have been for the last few months hounding them about how bad the firmware is. I made a video going over ideas on how they could fix the problem just waiting to see what they do now.
