Sorry if this has been asked and answered.

I want to have a specific Device be able to access the internet at specific times of the day.

Lets take my ipad for example:

from 20:30 till 23:99 I want the device to have no access to the internet
from 00:01 to 07:29 I want the device to have no access to the internet
from 07:30 to 20:29 I want the device to HAVE access to the internet (Unrestricted access)

I have closely followed the instructions from HERE

FIRMWARE VERSION: 4.0.0 Build 20150916 Rel. 37772
HARDWARE VERSION: ArcherC9 v1.0

This new firmware is not like the old firmware where this could be achieved through "Access Control"

It seems that they tried to simplify the ordeal (which is nice) but I cannot seem to get it to function.

I have also chosen "Blacklist" from the "CONTENT RESTRICTION" area. Have have left the field blank.

I DO NOT want to use "Whitelist" as I am not trying to regulate webpage access, rather, I just want the router to act as an on/off switch for specific devices.

Thanks in Advance.

welcome to the club. There are indeed a few posts about this very issue with latest firmware. Look at my post here or at dmeilinger's thread here. I will likely take the jump and roll back to an older firmware that allows exactly what you describe. Why would you take capabilities away from a firmware update TP-Link?

the bottomline is that you cannot do this with the latest firmware, but you can do this with older firmware.
