I bought a TP-Link XE75 Pro with two nodes.

Three story 2000 sqft home.  Basement (with rec room), main floor with TV, upstairs with den.

One node will be upstairs in the den.  The other node will be in the basement rec room.

Question ... I have the ethernet cables in place such that I can wire both of them into the XB7 modem. One node on port 1, other node on port 2.

Will this work? Or does the second node have to work wirelessly?
