I have a TD-W8980 that I connect to my ISP using PPPOE. I periodically get a problem that the link stops working but can be re-established by disconnecting and re-connecting.
I set the Echo request interval to 1 and using a packet sniffer, when the link fails I can see the Requests going out but there are no replies. Is it possible to set a threshold to cause the link to reset if a Echo Reply time out?
Otherwise what's the point of the Echo requests?
