@EVERYONE Hi Guys. just want to let you know that i somehow got a workaround with my problem. 

i needed to revert back my firmware to replace the custom firmware from my ISP using the recovery method mentioned from this link.

and downloaded the latest firmware for hardware version v1 which i have.

now i can access the UI from a browser and have the whitelist option
