Problem connecting a TP-LINK TL-WA854RE to a TP-LINK TL-WA901ND

I've a TP-LINK TD-W8970 V1 router connected succesfully to the internet. As a firs step i've connected to it a TP-LINK TL-WA901ND, configured as range extender, and everything worked beautifully.
Now i'm triyng to further extend the wi-fi signal connecting a TP-LINK TL-WA854RE to the TL-WA901ND: i've done the Whole procedure described in the quick startup manual, I could go through all the steps of the procedure, but when I try to connect to the network it ask for the password. I put it in, but it always answer that the password is incorrect (i've tryed it different times, so i'm sure that it's actually correct).
If i turn off the TL-WA854RE I can navigate the intrnet through the othe two devices.
