on omada installation compose of

 

OC200 : 1.36.7 Build 20250707 Rel.72474 

ER605 : 2.3.0 Build 20250428 Rel.18967

SWITCH SG2210MP V5 : 5.0.8 Build 20250628 Rel.72706

SWITCHS SG2008P : 3.20.10 Build 20250628 Rel.7270

 

I have an OMADA system with which I have a DHCP problem. Indeed, if I look at the logs, I see that for each client on the network the IP address is renewed every 30 minutes, while for VLAN99 I have a lease of 720 minutes. How can I avoid this unnecessary DHCP traffic to have an effective renewal every 30 minutes?

As GRL mentioned, also from the logs, this only related to one client.

Please check the settings on that client.

DHCP server doesnt forcefully hand out IPs by itself, it only responds to client requests.  Some cllients are more DHCP "talkative" than others despite lease settings

hi  i received the logs of cx about this issues.

 

ihe DHCP release time didn't be good, for all pcs  you can have a look on attach file.

 

to remind cx as omada   topology with 

 

OC200 : 1.36.7 Build 20250707 Rel.72474 (Écurie)

ER605 : 2.3.0 Build 20250428 Rel.18967

SWITCH SG2210MP V5 : 5.0.8 Build 20250628 Rel.72706
