New HB710 router network is not visible to Mac Mini M2 2023. Network is visible and works fine on iPhone, iPad etc. Mac Mini had no issues connecting to previous router. What could be the problem?

Okay, I understand that your Mac Mini M2 (2023) is unable to detect the Wi-Fi network from your new Deco Mesh router, while other devices like your iPhone and iPad can see and connect to it without any issues. Your Mac Mini had no trouble connecting to your previous router.

Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot this issue:

For 2.4GHz/5GHz networks:
1. Check Wi-Fi Settings: Open the Deco app and go to MORE > Wi-Fi Settings. Make sure that both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks are enabled and not hidden.
2. Disable ECO Mode: In the Deco app, go to MORE > ECO Mode (if available) and ensure that ECO Mode is turned off.
3. Update Your Mac Mini: Make sure your Mac Mini's operating system and Wi-Fi drivers are fully updated.
4. Test with Another Device: Try connecting another computer or laptop to the Deco Wi-Fi network to see if the issue is specific to your Mac Mini.
5. Compare with Another Router: If possible, try connecting your Mac Mini to a different router to see if it can detect other networks.

For 6GHz networks (Wi-Fi 6E/7):
1. Check 6GHz Settings: In the Deco app, go to Wi-Fi Settings and ensure the 6GHz network is enabled and not hidden.
2. Device Compatibility: Confirm that your Mac Mini supports 6GHz Wi-Fi and that its drivers and system are up to date.
3. Country Support: Make sure you are using the Deco and your Mac Mini in a country where Wi-Fi 6E/7 is allowed.

Note: If you notice that the Deco LED turns solid yellow when the Wi-Fi disappears, this could indicate a self-rebooting issue. Please refer to the 'Deco automatically restarts' troubleshooting guide for more details.

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1
