Model: EAP115-Wall
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 3.1.5

My EAP115-Wall keeps disconnecting few minutes after adoption. So I have three VLANs on my network,

VLAN 1 = 192.168.42.xxx for devices and control.

VLAN 2 = 192.168.2.xx for secure home use. Configured as WLAN with.

VLAN 100 = 192.168.100.xx for visitors, configured as guest WLAN.

It's on VLAN2 with rate limits, different from the secure network. It initially adopted fine and shows "connected" then few minutes later it will disconnected from the the POE switch (ES206GP) that powers it.

Any suggestion is welcome.

  @B_Star

Thank you for your post.

1. What is the exact model and firmware version of your Controller?
2. When you say the device “disconnect” from the ES206GP, what symptoms do you see?
3. While it is offline, is the power LED on the device still solid/on?
4. Does it ever re-join the network automatically? If not, how long does that take and what triggers it?
5. Have you swapped the Ethernet cable between the AP and the ES206GP port?
6. Please verify that the switch port can supply a stable Internet connection (check speed/duplex and PoE budget if applicable).
7. Try moving the AP to a different port or location—does the problem follow the AP or stay with the original cable/port?
8. When the AP drops, confirm that the upstream Internet circuit itself is still live (e.g., plug a laptop into the same cable and test connectivity).

@Ethan-TP Hello Ethan, here's the answers to your questions.

1. Model: OC200 1.0  Firmware Version: 1.36.7 Build 20250707 Rel.72474

2. Light stays on but the controller would warn the device has been disconnected.

3. Yes

4. No it does not re-join the network automatically, I had to forget the device then wait for it to be adapted again.

5. Yes I've swapped the Ethernet cable for a better CAT 6a.

6. I can verify that the switch port can supply a stable Internet connection, I set it to full duplex 1000Mbps and it's a PoE+switch so power budget is fine.

7. I"ve not moved the AP to a different port or location to test it that way but the cables I'm using are CAT 6a's and outdoor rated too.

8. The upstream Internet circuit itself is always live because I mostly connect to a wireless router that is directly connected to my ER605 VPN Gateway.
