I want to extend wifi coverage to part of the house with almost no wifi signal. There is already a cat6 cable connecting to my router, so I want a dual band access point with ethernet backhaul. The small range extenders are interesting but seem to only allow the ethernet port to be used to bridge a wired device onto the wireless network.

Can any of them be configured to use the ethernet port to connect to my router?

The business access points that support dual band are all very much more expensive as far as I can see.
