Hello, I feel my M9 Deco's need to be replaced. Some keep falling out regularly.

I have 6 of them. Two in the two rooms downstairs, one in the kitchen (downstairs) and one in all 3 rooms that lie on top of the kitchen.

The distance between number 1 and number 6 is around 20 meters.

There's only a cable between number 1 and 2.

I have glasfiber from Odido (T-Mobile), on which WiFi is disabled.

Any suggestions with which model I can replace the M9's, preferably less that 6?

Thanks and regards,

Rob

I have replaced all my Deco M9-Plus with Deco X50-PoE. Similar form factor, can be wall and ceiling mounted. You can buy single Deco X50-PoE units, which means you can keep adding them as needed. It is hard to say in advance how many you'll need. Start with one per floor, then keep adding more to cover places where WiFi signal and speed is below your needs.

X50-PoE provide better speeds at my house than M9 Plus, but not by much. I could get almost 600Mbps from Main Deco M9-Plus, with X50-PoE my top speed from Main Deco is 800Mbps.

Satellite Deco speed with WiFi backhaul depends on location, walls, etc. M9-Plus is tri-band, which supposed to provide better speeds on Satellites. X50-PoE is dual-band, but it is WiFi6. In my house Satellite Deco X50-PoE provides same speed as M9-Plus and it is mounted where Satellite M9-Plus used to be.
