Hello everyone,

is there any way to disable web admin gui to wireless clients? I've set up the TL-WA701ND v2 in my office network and it works very well but I want to disable the access to web management interface to wireless clients for security reason.

If it's not present why not adding the option to the next (if any is on the way) firmware upgrade? Something like "Bind Web GuI to": "LAN Only", "WLAN Only", "LAN/WLAN".

I think it want to let customer get into GUI more convenient with two kind of methods rather that wired connected. I would advice that you could change the username and password in "System Tools--Password". It would be easy than ask TP-LINK to change.

I already did the suggested admin user/pwd change in the admin GUI, thank you.
The option I'm suggesting not only adds more security to some kind of brute force attack or password guess but also hides brand/model of AP (except for mac address vendor) and any other information (like fw revision and so on) that an attacker could use to exploit possible unfixed security holes.
It's a very simple option to add and it's generaly seen only on enterprise-class devices (and not on all of them!)
Hope TP-LINK will add it soon!

But seems available only on ADSL modem router...

Well, this option disables the whole radio function, that is the wireless NOT the management. I want to have radio enabled but the management accessible ONLY via wired connection (LAN).

Nope. It requires a firmware updates and none was released.
