Hello,

 

After hearing about the command injection vulnerability I went to look for the updated firmware on the support page and the only version available is what I currently have.

 

I am in Canada and noticed the US firmware site has the new 2.3.1.

 

My question is can I use this US firmware on my ER605 V2 or is there going to be a new update for Canadians coming out?

On reddit, ppl seem to indicate some sites get the updated firmware later than others.

 

I can't fathom why you couldn't just download from the other site and load it. Should be fine.

Omada gateway firmware is not region specific.  Just download the one from the US or EN sites

I'm in Canada (Quebec) and I got the update from here: https://support.omadanetworks.com/en/product/er605/v2/?resourceType=download

 

Updated my ER605 V2 last week and everything is working fine.

Omada Controller : v6.0.0.23 Gateways : ER8411 V1.0, ER7206 v1.0 and ER605 V2.0 Switches : SG3428X v1.30 & TL-SG2008P v1.0 APs : EAP773 v1.0, EAP620HD v1.0 and EAP610 v3.0
