So i bought a second RE655BE.

Finaly i can connect my tablet with the 6Ghz when i am on the second floor of my house.

However... I encounter a strange issue.

Here are my steps:

1- Unbox the repeater and put it into the powerpoint.

2- Connect with the tp-link extender channel by wifi

3- Browsed to http://192.168.0.254

4- It asks for a password. Entered to times the same passw.

5- I had to connect with a TP_Link_264 channel. I saw 3 of them, what was very confusing

I choosed to the best of my knowledge the MAS adress of what i thought is the router (BE800)

6- A FW update was available, 1.1.0_whatever, so i updated the FW

7- After a reboot, i browsed to http://192.1`68.0.244 to see if i had to setup something

To my surprise i had to fill in a email adress and a password.

So i choosed my TP-link ID.

Nothing happend...?????

What do i overlook, do i not understand, and what are the credentials to login into my new RE655BE???

Thether does not allow me to login to the new RE655BE, although it finds the device.

To be honest...i am very confused now. I am very handy, but for reasons unknown i believe i did something wrong during the setup.

The installation guide is very poor too.
