Hi, I have 2 routers: my TLWR841N is connected to my broadband connection. I connect this to a TL-WPA4220 via powerline adapter. I want the TL-WPA4220 to have a fixed IP address.
The 841N has an address of 10.1.1.1 and a DHCP range of 10.1.1.100-10.1.1.199
[*]I bind the mac address of the 4220 to a static address - 10.1.1.88
[*]when I reboot both routers the 4220 gets an address of 10.1.1.57
[*]so it receives an address out of DHCP range but not the address I specified
Could someone please advise the best way to allocate a static IP address to the TL-WPA4220? EG. If I access the network page on this router and change this address will it remain the same after a reboot?
Regards
