TL-WA854RE: Android devices do not connect, but notebook does.

No problems to connect the TL-WA854RE with any notebook.
Android mobiles detect the SSID, try to get the IP, but do not connect.

- SSID has no additional characters
- WLAN PW is correct
- SSID is different to origin SSID as inet connection does not work at all

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Can the android mobiles get ip addresses? Or even unable to be connected to the wifi?

I had almost the same problem. My smartphone were able to connect in the extended network but it couldn't connect the net. So after hours of searching i found out that you just have to go to go to the wifi settings in your phone, find the extender wifi and then click it prolonged on order to find the network settings. Then change the ip set up to Statick. This should solve your problem. I hope i helped you!

Hello! The mobiles always try to get the IP, but they fail.
